NEW DELHI: Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here today and apprised him about the situation in the Kashmir Valley which has been on the boil for the last 67 days.
The Governor flew in this morning, briefed the Prime Minister and returned to the valley in the afternoon.
There was no official word as to what transpired during the Governor’s 30-minute meeting with the Prime Minister but it is believed that he apprised him about the situation as well as steps being taken for restoring the law and order. (AGENCIES)
