JAMMU, Sept 16: A delegation of National Conference (NC) Minority Cell led by its president, M K Yogi called on Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner (Migrants) here today.
The delegation apprised the Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner about the burning problems of the community, Mr Yogi impressed upon the authorities that Prime Minister package employees be given justice and their demands should be met without further delay.
He said they are being harassed on every count and their salaries be disbursed at Jammu.

The other demands discussed were simplification of bifurcation , disbursement of salaries to the PM package employees, advertisement of balance 3000 posts under package, issuance of posting orders for those candidates who were interviewed over one year back, supply of relief and ration before 10th of every month, conversion and construction of two room tenements at erstwhile Purkhoo camp, construction of boundary wall at Jagti township, simplification of rules at Relief office, making Jagti hospital functional fully, issuance of RBA certificates to migrants and compensation to over aged youth of the community.
The delegation expressed concern that over half of population in Jagti township are without ration from August when half month of September is also over. He also demanded issuance of fans in lane 6 Jagti.
The Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, said that the migrants have lot of expectations from Relief Commissioner and he will try his utmost to settle their problems.
Anil Dhar, Jiten Bhat, Ashok Koul, M L Pandita, Bal Krishan Bhat, Amit Koul, Ramesh Bharti, Harmendar Singh, T K Koul, Ashok Ji Bhat, Shiban Ji Pandita and Roshan Lal Bhat accompanied the delegation.
