JAMMU, Sept 18: In separate incidents, two women allegedly made abortive attempts on their lives by consuming some poisonous substances at their respective residences in city outskirts.
A woman identified as Sushila Jamwal (38) wife of Karan Singh, a resident of Nagrota consumed some poisonous substance at her residence following which she was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment.
Another woman namely Deep Mala (28) wife of Sukhdev Chand, resident of Kashmiri Mohalla (Akhnoor) also consumed some poisonous substance at her residence following which family members shifted her to GMCH Jammu for treatment.
In both cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
