This title exactly stands for what it says, India for the first time stands United on a common platform , no more abuse against the weak and the speechless.
We all want India to once again become the land of Ahimsa, an animal friendly nation again .This movement is in no way about being a vegetarian or non vegetarian! but about calling spade a spade , abuse is a abuse whether against a human or non human. Both feel pain and trauma. Animals also have families and feelings . They have equal right to live and die with dignity . A torture and murder of an animal can’t be punished by Rs 50.
Rising animal abuse can be very well be linked with deteriorating moral values , sadistic traits in youngsters plus graduation to human abuse in no time .
Rising cases of child rape, acid attacks , riots and destruction of life and property can be linked to our Apathy towards animal abuse incidents in jest .
It’s time to rise and join this mass movement for the safe future of our children , a compassionate and tolerant co existence on this planet.
The idea is to urge and encourage people to stand up for animal rights.
* There is also demand for tougher punishments and better enforcement.
* Greater Accountability
* Accord tribunal status to Animal Welfare board of India and stop interfering in its functioning
* Work fight and drive for an animal friendly agenda in the country, with intent to work closely with relevant authorities.
People who abuse animals for profit or for sadistic pleasure will not be spared anymore. It’s the common voice of all the animal lovers which needs to be heard by the politicians and lawmakers of this country . As a citizen of India we reserve the right to vote for those who stand up for animal rights .
