NEW DELHI, Sept 19: National Institute for Education & Research (NIER), New Delhi organized a grand award function for the NIER’s Healthcare Excellence and NIER’s National Excellence awards on September 18, 2016 at India International Centre, 40, Max Mullar Marg, New Delhi.
Ram Das Athawale Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment was the chief guest. Guests of Honour were Mrs International 2016, Mrs Amrit Kaur, H S Paul of Daily Excelsior, Dr P Kaniappan, World renowned Mathematician and former Vice Chancellor of Alagappa University.
The function was attended by eminent doctors from all over the country.
Life Time Achievement Award in Cardiology and Opthalmology was given to Dr V Jaypal and Dr Ashok Garg respectively.
The Graduation Ceremony of Victoria Global University was organized and 25 honorary doctorates were awarded to eminent doctors and other personalities who included S R Patil, Former Minister of Planning & IT, Karnataka State HoD of Surgery department of Safai Medical College Dr Anil Sharma, Dr P Kanmappan former Vice Chancellor of Algappa University, Dr Nand Kishore Kapadia Directors, Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai etc.
