SAMBA, Sept 19: In a major breakthrough, Samba Police today arrested a vehicle lifter Anil Kumar, Son of Ashok Kumar of Taloor Samba.
A class 12th student Anil was involved in various vehicle thefts in the area falling under the jurisdiction of Samba Police for last 10 days and people were scared of him.
Samba police had launched manhunt for him and a team of Police Station Samba under the supervision of Inspector, Sanjeev Chib, SHO busted the gang after arresting him. On his disclosure three motorcycles have been recovered which were stolen by him during the recent past.
In this connection, a case under FIR No.139/2016 U/S 379 RPC has been registered against the accused and investigation of same has been taken up.
