JAMMU, Sept 21: BJP Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Shamsher Singh Manhas, has been nominated as Member of Standing Committees and Consultative Committee under different Ministries of Government of India.
According to the official communications addressed to the MP by respective Ministries, Manhas has been nominated as Standing Committees Member of Union Ministries of Home and Power.
He has also been nominated as Consultative Committee Member of Ministry of Defence and Court Member of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). These nominations are made on unanimous decisions on rotational basis with two years tenure of each, a handout issued by Party here today said.
