JAMMU, Sept 21: A woman allegedly fell to death from the roof top of her house in Trikuta Nagar area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a woman identified as Sonia (42) wife of Arjun Kumar, resident of Nepal and at present residing in a rented accommodation at Trikuta Nagar near Shiv Temple, was found in a pool of blood near her rented accommodation, late last night.
He said that the woman was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where she was declared as brought dead by the doctors. “After completing all medico legal formalities, the body of the deceased woman was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites”, the spokesman said.
“A case in this connection has been registered at police station Trikuta Nagar and proceedings initiated under 174 CrPC”, he added.
