JKGB signs MoU with LIC for selling insurance products

JAMMU, Sept 22: J&K Grameen Bank (JKGB) today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India, for selling and servicing all life insurance products as a corporate agent.
The MoU was signed by Janak Raj Angural, General Manager, Head Office, J&K Grameen Bank under the guidance of the Bank Chairman, RK Chibber. On behalf of LIC of India, Vivek Sharma signed the MoU.
Speaking on the occasion, RK Chhibber said that this is yet another step of J&K Grameen Bank for ‘Financial Inclusion through Insurance’ and to provide hassle-free services to the rural/urban masses. Further, he appealed people of J&K to approach our nearest branches for availing hassle free services.
KL Sharma, Senior Manager, AMID at HO, Ajay Bharti Gupta, Senior Manager, PDG Department, Mukul Mehta, Private Secretary to Chairman, Raghav Gandotra, Manager, AMID from J&K Grameen Bank while RS Sambyal and SL Bhagat from LIC of India were also present on the occasion.
