SAMBA, Sept 23: District Development Commissioner, Sheetal Nanda, today chaired a meeting to review the progress of schemes related to District Plan, State Plan, CSS and other projects being executed in the district.
The DDC directed the concerned departments for meeting the projected targets in time and ensure utilization of funds as per guidelines. She directed District Panchayat Officer to ensure that Swankha, Jakh and Suchani villages are made Open Defecation Free by October 2 this year. She also directed CEO to take review of all developmental works like construction of boundary walls and additional classrooms under RMSA, SSA and Mid-Day Meal schemes.
The DDC instructed Executive Engineers PHE and PDD to furnish their convergence plan under MGNREGA in consultation with ACD for land levelling, clearing of bushes and other feasible works. She also asked X-En PDD to keep an inventory of transformers at block level.
The progress of decisions taken in the DDB meeting pertaining to different departments was also reviewed.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Vivek Sharma, CPO Jasbir Singh, X-Ens and district heads of different departments.
