JAMMU, Sept 24: Divisional Commissioner, Dr. Pawan Kotwal today held a meeting with all Deputy Commissioners of Jammu province through video conferencing and discussed various issues related to Revenue Department.
While discussing harvest inspection of Kharief Crop 2016 of Maidani and Kandi areas, the Divisional Commissioner issued instructions to conduct survey in 20 villages and submit a report within one month.
Dr. Kotwal directed all the DCs to ensure reconstruction of Latha by April 1 of the next year. For this DCs were asked to monitor the progress so that task will be completed in the stipulated time frame.
Divisional Commissioner stressed on maintaining proper tour diary of the field officers/officials by the concerned authorities to maintain efficiency in the system.
The Divisional Commissioner directed the DCs to sort out the land acquisition for different projects on priority basis and emphasized that there should be no changes after the alignments are fixed. He further directed for formulation of a comprehensive blue print for the construction of Medical College in Rajouri for presenting in the meeting to be chaired by the Chief Minister in near future. He also stressed for removal of encroachments on State land.
Asking DCs to focus on developmental works, Divisional Commissioner exhorted upon them to personally monitor the functioning of the field activities of the Revenue Department for speedy completion of urgent tasks.
Among others who were present in the meeting included DC Samba, Sheetal Nanda, Collector Power Grid Corporation of India, Kusum Sharma, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Jammu, SD Singh, Collector Land Acquisition PDD, Joginder Singh Jasrotia, Assistant Commissioner Central and Deputy Director Planning Div Com Office.
