JAMMU, Sept 25: A woman today succumbed to her burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital.
According to a police spokesperson, the woman identified as Mamta (25) wife of Mohan Lal, a resident of Jinder Melu (RS Pura), was shifted here at GMCH on September 18 after she suffered about 70% burn injuries at her residence due to unknown reasons.
However, the woman succumbed to her injuries today at about 10.20 am. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
