Mindlogicx aims to double student user base by FY13-end

TIRUCHIRAPALLI, TN, Oct 1: Bangalore-based education technology service provider Mindlogicx is targeting to double its student user base to two million before the end of this fiscal, a top company official has said.
“As of now, we are providing technology based examination automation solutions ‘IntelliEXAMS’ to eight major Universities in the country.
“Two-three large Indian Universities are in the pipeline and we are confident of adding at least another million students to our user base by March, 2013,” Suresh Elangovan, CEO, Mindlogicx, told.
By end of next year (December, 2013), Mindlogicx expects to add one million students through implementation of IntelliEXAMS that will treble its total student user base to three million students, he said.
Universities using IntelliEXAMS include Bangalore University, Saurashtra University, Jharkhand University and Coimbatore unit of Anna University.
Replying to a question, he claimed this is a foolproof solution that would help Universities avert paper leak, impersonation, mark sheet scam and forgeries.
In addition, the solution is also expected to cut short expenditure of Universities by 30 per cent from the traditional method now adopted by most Indian Universities.
When asked about the market potential, he said it is huge, given the vast number of Universities in the country.
Elangovan said within a few years, he expected it to become a ‘must have’ solution from the experimental stage it is in now.
On the price tag, the exam automation solution is offered on a BOOT (Built, Own, Operate and Transfer) model.
About the comapany’s footprint in Tamil Nadu, he said as a pilot project, TNPSC utilised the solution when they held exams for recruitment of librarians on September 1 and 2.
With multi-functional educational institutions across the state, overall it was a rosy picture for the firm, he said.
Mindlogicx is working on a new concept in educational solutions under the title of Vertical Educational Delivery and Assessment System to be launched in the next few months, that will have solutions for exams and tele-education delivery either one-to-one or one to numerous candidates. (PTI)
