LOS ANGELES, Oct 1: Singer The Weeknd has released a new track, “False Alarm” from his upcoming thrid studio album “Starboy”.
The 26-year-old singer took to Twitter to announce the release of the song, which is the second single from “Starboy”.
Written by The Weeknd, Martin “Doc” McKinney, Ahmad Balshe, Benjamin Diehl, Walter and Emmanuel Nickerson, the song is about a man who gets a false alarm from a woman he loves.
“False alarm. Out everywhere,” he wrote.
“She loves everybody/ Can’t you tell by the signs?/ She loves everybody/ She gets off all the time/ It’s a dark philosophy/ And it haunts her constantly/ It’s a false alarm to me/ She’s a false alarm,” The Weeknd croons.
