Prices of pulses remain flat in thin trade

NEW DELHI, Oct 1: There was not much activity at the wholesale pulses market today as prices continued to move in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around the previous levels.
Traders said adequate stocks against scattered demand mainly kept the prices unaltered.
Following are today’s pulses rates (in Rs per quintal):
Urad Rs 7,300-8,900, Urad Chilka (local) Rs 7,800-7,900,Urad best Rs 7,900-8,400, Dhoya Rs 8,300-8,600, Moong Rs 5,200-5,800, Dal Moong Chilka local Rs 5,700-6,000, Moong Dhoya local Rs 6,300-6,800 and best quality Rs 6,800-7,000.
Masoor small Rs 5,600-5,800, bold Rs 5,650-5,850, Dal Masoor local Rs 6,050-6,550, best quality Rs 6,150-6,650, Malka local Rs 6,400-6,900, best Rs 6,500-7,000, Moth Rs 4,200-4,500, Arhar Rs 7,200, Dal Arhar Dara Rs 9,200-11,000.
