JAMMU, Oct 1: A deputation of J&K United School Teachers Association (USTA) led by its provincial president Hari Singh met Director School Education (DSE) and apprised him about the various problems being faced by the teaching community.
Members urged Director to hold Department Promotion Committee (DPC) in favour of trained post graduate teachers, masters, under graduate teachers and head masters and also immediate promotion of class IV employee of the Education Department.
Members urged the Director to direct all drawing and disbursing officer of the Education Department to issue GP Fund statement to teachers annually and confirm all the teachers and ReT teachers and masters.
The deputation appealed the Director to frame transfer policy for ReT’s and allow all the untrained graduate teachers to undergo BEd course irrespective of degree percentage.
Among others present were Rajeev Kumar, Sewa Ram, Shashi Paul Singh, Banarsi Dass, Raj Kumar, Pardeep Singh, Madan Singh, etc.
