It is again a flaw in our electoral process that once a person is elected by the people for a particular party lineage , ideology and purpose and expect him or her to perform to serve them, the elected representative then thinks it his prerogative to deal with the mandate as it likes, he could realign, form or join another group, cross over under assured conditions or under a passion, prejudice or emotion tender resignation all without consulting the people who elected him PDP MP Tariq Hameed Karra instead of providing support to the Government to tide over the disturbing violence in Kashmir valley, announced his resignation as if that was going to make him earn laurels.
This is how our politicians do.
