JAMMU, Oct 6: A month long programme for NSS volunteers concluded today at Government Degree College (GDC) Bishnah.
Rafiq Ahmed Jaral, Tehsildar Bishnah, was the chief guest on the valedictory function. In his speech, Rafiq encouraged and motivated the volunteers to come forward and serve the nation.
Earlier, Principal of the College, Prof (Dr) KR Sharma, also addressed the students and NSS volunteers. Thereafter, students presented various cultural items.
Prof (Dr) Seema Jamwal, convener, NSS Advisory Committee, delivered a motivating speech to the students.
The programme concluded with formal vote of thanks by Dr Aksa Rao, NSS programme Officer. Senior faculty members of the College were also present on the occasion.
