JAMMU: In yet another case of ceasefire violation, Pakistan today breached the truce on Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir in which an Army jawan was injured.
“A jawan sustained injuries when Pakistan this morning at around 0500 hrs fired small arms thus violating the ceasefire,” police sources here said.
They said that own troops effectively retaliated with similar calibre weapons, adding, “the exchange of fire lasted till 0630 hrs while one jawan sustained injuries.”
Injured jawan has been shifted to Command Hospital, they added. (AGENCIES)
