SAMBA, Oct 8: Chief Judicial Magistrate Samba has rejected the bail application of Vijay Sharma S/o Satpal of Nagri Tehsil and district Samba for fraudulently selling the 11 kanals and six marlas of the land when the accused owned only 2.57 marlas of land.
While disposing-off the bail application filed by the accused through his council Ganesh Sharma, the Court observed that the accused had fraudulently executed an agreement for sale of 11 kanals and 6 marlas of land inducing the complainant to pay Rs 30 lakh and consideration amount has not been received back.
The Court while going through the bail application further observed that public interest as well as money consideration is involved which has been received without any land on the spot as such. Hence the prayer for bail of Vijay Sharma is rejected.
The accused was arrested by Ghagwal police on October 4 and since then he is in police custody.
