JAMMU, Oct 9: Bahujan Samaj Party today paid rich tributes to Master Kanshi Ram on his death anniversary.
To remember their beloved leader, BSP activists and leaders took out a grand rally, comprising of Scooters, motorcycles, cars, tractors and hundreds of small vehicles. M L Tomar Ex-MLC UP and coordinator J&K and Himachal Pardesh, flagged off the rally, which took off from Kunjwani Chowk Jammu.
M.L Tomar, Pandit Chano Ram and K.C Bhagat (leader of Meigh Mandal and Harijan Mandal), Piran Ditta (president of All J&K Guru Ravidass Sabha), Tarsem Khullar along with other leaders of State were leading the rally, which passed through Satwari Chowk, Vikram Chowk, Dogra Chowk, Shakuntla Chowk, Kachi Chawni, Parade, Shalimar, Gummat, Gujjar Nagar and finally culminated at Ambedkar Chowk near Rail Head Jammu where it was converted into a public rally. The rally was addressed by prominent leaders of BSP.
While addressing the rally, Tarsem Khullaa threw light on the life and struggle of Kanshi Ram for making Indian masses self dependant by implementing the Constitution of India drafted by Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar.
Highlighting the grievances of poor and backward classes, he said, “still there is a heap of problems being faced by the peoples but ruling elite don’t bother about their solution. The patience of peoples has come to the brim which can exploded any time, thus making situation of J&K more dangerous in future then in present.
M L Tomar, BSP coordinator for Himachal & J&K, also expressed concern over the problems of masses and advised the cadre of BSP to be prepared for great struggle. He stressed upon cadre that time has come to take political power in their hand for mitigating their suffering.
