JAMMU, Oct 9: In connection with its Sathapana Divas falling on Vijay Dashmi, RSS performed Shastr Poojan at various places today and took out path Sanchalan (route march).
The main programme will be held at on Vijay Dashmi falling on October 11 in different places of Jammu region.
However the Shastr Poojan was today performed by RSS volunteers at Krishna Janjghar Muthi which was followed by Path Sanchalan under the leadership of Rajan Ji Vibagh Karivah.
He was the chief spokesperson on the occasion who threw light on the role of RSS in nation building since its formation.
The path Sanchalan was taken from Muthi village to EWS Park Roopnagar. A large number of Swaym Sevaks in full dress participated in the Path Sanchalan.
The Shastr poojan was also organized by RSS volunteers at Samba today which was followed by Paath Sanchalan. The rally was headed by Jila Pracharak, RSS Gopal Singh and MLA Samba, Dr Devinder Manyal was the chief guest on the occasion.
The rally started from Mandi Sangwali and passed through Garh Mandi, Thalora Mandi, Chaohata Chowk, Main Bazaar Samba, National Highway and later culminated at Samba Fort.
