Kavinder inaugurates Aadhaar enrollment camp

Excelsior Correspondent JAMMU, Oct 9: Speaker Legislative Assembly Kavinder Gupta today inaugurated an Aadhaar enrolment camp at Nanak Nagar. This camp is part of the ongoing special Aadhaar enrolment drive being carried out across Jammu to cover the remaining population and ease the process of Aadhaar enrolment for common people. The special feature of these camps is that they are organised on Sundays to ensure that maximum people can benefit from this initiative. Kavinder Gupta, while interacting with the people, enquired about functioning of the camp besides asking about the cooperation being extended by the departments and officials to them. “With Aadhaar cards becoming compulsory for availing most Government schemes like scholarships, nutrition benefits and those which are paid directly in cash, these camps are essential in providing people with a simplified and hassle free mechanism for Aadhaar enrolment.
