JAMMU, Oct 12 : Provincial president of National Conference, Devender Singh Rana today hoped that healthy and intense competition between cellular companies will ultimately benefit the end user and make technology affordable to all segments of society.
Inaugurating a mega Airtel outlet, Khorana Commun-ications, in posh Tikuta Nagar area here this afternoon, Rana said that internet connectivity has assumed greater significance and it has virtually become impossible to do without it in even in day to day chorus from booking tickets, browsing research and reference material by students and scholars to shopping online.
He further said that a credible and affordable connectivity is imperative to meet the requirements of all sections of society and hoped that youngsters in particular will make productive use of internet for furthering their career and pursuing academics.
NC leader said that the young people will have to apply their discretion so that technology turns out as a virtue rather than a vice. He interacted with the youth on the occasion and emphasized the need for checks and balances while making use of internet.
“Your aim should be to derive as much benefit as you can in terms of research material as also finding out worldwide opportunities to shape your career”, he told them and hoped that cellular companies will keep providing incentives to users.
Rana complimented Devender Singh Khorana, owner of the outlet, for making a grand opening and providing modern facilities to the customers, saying the outreach to various areas in commendable.
The outlet will provide to customers all the new products of Airtel, like postpaid, prepaid, payment banking, bills and recharge facilities.
