Driver found dead in bus

RAJOURI, Oct 14:  A young bus driver was found dead closer to the rear seat of his bus at Sunderbani this morning.
The police identified the deceased as 30-year-old Amitabh Bachan, son of Kirpa Ram, resident of  Taryath in Kalakote. His body was hanging from a steel rod with the help of a cloth which was used as a noose just behind rear seat of the bus.
The bus was parked  at open space near  Bus Stand at Sunderbani. When the bus conductor  arrived early in the morning from the house of his relatives at nearby village he  noticed body of the driver hanging from the top steel rod  at the rear seat  just closer to the door.  He informed other  drivers and cleaners at Bus Stand and also called police.
The police party led by SHO Sunderbani,  Rajinder  Parihar  reached the spot. The police party examined the spot and then shifted the body to the mortuary of  Sunderbani Hospital. Some injury marks were visible around the neck of the body. After postmortem   the body was handed over to the family.
The police said that  this bus was parked here for the last two days. The conductor had gone to the house of his relatives at Lamberi for the night stay while driver was alone in the bus. He told police that driver was taking excessive liquor for the last few days and was visibly upset. He was living  in the house of his in-laws and had not good relations with wife and in-laws. The SHO said that a case under Section 174 CrPC has been registered and possibility of murder can not be ruled out. He said that police will work on all the angles and all the people under suspicion will be interrogated.
