KATHUA, Oct 2: A young housewife died of burn injuries in GMC Hospital today.
Identified as Babli, wife of Rakesh Kumar of village Chhan Rodian, she had sustained 70 % burn injuries under mysterious circumstances at her home on September 16. Babli told police that she came in the grip of fire while cooking on kerosene oil stove. From Kathua Hospital, she was referred to GMC Jammu on the same day. He succumbed to injuries early today. The police investigation was in progress.
