Terror and talks can’t go together: Randhir Singh

JAMMU, Oct 15: A meeting of senior NCP leaders was held under the chairmanship of former Minister and State NCP chief Thakur Randhir Singh to discuss current political situation in the State.
Randhir Singh while addressing the party leaders and mediamen said that terror and talks can’t go together. He said former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah wants talks with Pakistan and its agents which shows the double standards of the National Conference which was also backed by the Congress and only single CPI-M MLA Yousuf Tarigami.
Singh questioned NC, Congress and CPI-M leaders have they visited Balidan Stambh in Jammu which was built by Army where thousands names of our brave-hearts were inscribed who lost their lives in declared wars. He appealed the present Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar to take that Balidhan Stambh back and include the names of brave hearts who have given their lives in undeclared war against Pakistan.
State NCP vice president Krishan Kumar Digra condemned statement of Dr Farooq Abdullah who has demanded settlement and talks with Pakistan and its agents in Jammu and Kashmir.
R S Billowaria general secretary and spokesman State NCP demanded withdrawal of total security and other benefits from Hurriyat leaders including National Conference, CPI-M and Congress leaders whose leaders have been provided free transport, living accommodation in Jammu and Srinagar cities and also in Hotels after making payments from Security Related Expenditure (SRE).
Rishi Kilam State NYC president youth wing and additional spokesman NCP demanded that the migrant employees of Kashmir valley should be reinstated in Jammu.
Those who addressed the meeting included Krishan Kumar Digra, Dr Liaquat Ali Magray, Satpal Sharma, Raj Singh Jamwal, Javed F Rehman, R C Bali, Sandeep Manhas, Abhimanyu-pratap Singh Jamwal, Jarnail Khokhar, Sakina Khan, Ch Dev Raj, T K Koul, Rattan Lal, Jaswant Singh Jamwal and Vikram Mahajan.
