JAMMU, Oct 15: A woman today succumbed to her burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police spokesperson, the woman identified as Rajni Devi (35) wife of Pritam Lal, a resident of Batarachak (Bishnah), was shifted here at GMCH on October 8 with about 90% burn injuries, she received at her residence.
He said that the woman today succumbed to her injuries at about 11.50 am. “After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites”, he said, adding, the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
