JAMMU, Oct 16: Seven persons were injured today in separate road accidents in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a youth identified as Tarun (25) son of Kawalnain Singh, resident of Raina Colony, Babliana (Satwari) was injured when the bike on which he was travelling got slipped at Sanjay Nagar.
A car hit a bike at Garigarh and injured its rider namely Surjeet Singh (22) son of Budhi Singh, resident of TCP No 1, Kanachak.
Three of a family were injured when the scooty on which they were going on, got slipped in Muthi area of city outskirts. The injured have been identified as Manish (27) son of Sham Lal, resident of Tirth Nagar (Talab Tillo), his wife, Parveen (25) and their daughter namely Rohi.
A motorcyclist identified as Rakesh Kumar (42) son of Bachchan Singh, resident of Terava (Arnia) sustained injuries when his bike collided with another bike at Terava.
A Lohra in Phlian Mandaal area, a scooty hit and injured a pedestrian namely Shakuntla Devi (50) wife of Nath Ram, resident of Allora (Sohajana).
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
