JAMMU, Oct 18: MLA R.S Pura, Dr.Gagan Bhagat kick started Rs 5.55 crore developmental works in the R.S Pura Constituency. Laying the foundation stone for various development works at Village Kalyana and Chak Mohd.Yaar, he said that the Union Government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has been providing liberal funding to the rural areas and the R S Pura Constituency has been receiving tremendous support with the effective contribution of DyCM Dr. Nirmal Singh and MP Jugal Kishore Sharma.
While addressing the gathering at Village Kalyana after the inauguration Dr. Gagan said that “Antouday” the vision of Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay has been adopted as an ideology by the Bhartiya Janata Party, and it is for the first time in the history of Independent India that a common man has been directly benefitted by the policies and schemes of the Government.
He said the BJP is concentrating on providing those benefits and in this regard, directions have been issued time to time by the Party to the Ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, office bearers and workers of the Party. The Prime Minister is monitoring and keeping a check personally on these Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS), and a message is loud and clear which helps and provides the benefits to deserving and poor person first. Another big achievement of the BJP Government at the Centre as well in the State is that none of its Ministers, MPs and MLAs have been involved in any sort of corruption which was a common and routine affair in the previous regime, and the people now are against the corruption and all the credit goes to the Prime Minister and the party workers.
The locals expressed their gratitude to legislators for taking up these developmental works on priority.
Dr.Gagan further said that comprehensive plan under PDD, R&B, CRF NABARD, BADP, MGNREGA- CDS convergence, education, UDD and Health sectors have been evolved to meet the developmental aspiration of the people of R.S Pura Constituency. While inaugurating another developmental work at Ward No. 8 R.S Pura which was started at an estimated cost of Rs.32 lakh by the Town Drainage Department, he said R S Pura had worst drainage system as the successive Governments in the State had ignored it. However, he assured the people that situation has changed now and the Constituency will get priority in developmental sector.
