SRINAGAR, Oct 18: Continuing its drive against contraband substances, police have arrested a man with charas in Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district today.
A police spokesman said following a tip off, police apprehended a man identified as Ajaz Ahmad Dar at Kandizal in Awantipora. “On his checking, police recovered a kilogram of charas powder. A case under FIR number 189/2016 under Section 8/20 has been registered and investigation has been taken up,” he said.
