JAMMU, Oct 18: The Himalaya Drug Company organized free Bone Mineral Density (BMD) test at Urban Health Centre, Talab Tillo Jammu.
More than 100 patients were examined during the camp. A routine check up was done by Dr Rinku Pandita and Dr Monike after the test. Rahul Pandita from Himalaya Drug Company told EXCELSIOR that Osteoporosis is difficult to detect at an early stage. Most people don’t realize that they have Osteoporosis.
The disease slowly and silently steal the bone often giving no pain or signs until the first fracture fracture. They said that both men and women are prone to osteoporosis after the age of 50-60 years.
Sanjay Bhat and Ritesh Mahajan from Himalaya Drug Company were also present during the camp.
