JAMMU, Oct 18: One day free check-up camp was conducted by Dr C D Gupta, a renowned senior cardiologist at Hari Prabhu Ashray, Nagrota Gujroo, teshil Ramkot with a view to provide free consultation and better health care facility at the door steps of poor and needy patients in rural and remote area.
During the camp, 75 patients who hailed from teshils Billawar, Basohli and Ram Nagar were checked-up and diagnosed.
Besides distribution of free medicines, free ECG facility was also provided to 25 patients through Vikas Gupta, a technician.
Out of these patients, seven patients with serious heart ailment were referred to GMC Jammu and other health centres for their surgeries and further treatment.
President Jagmohan Gupta and general secretary S C Gupta thanked Dr Gupta for organising such camps and distributing free medicines regularly in the rural and remote area.
Other Sanstha members present were S P Gupta, Manohar Lal Gupta, K L Gupta, Dev Kumar Gupta and S Surjeet Singh.
