JAMMU, Oct 20: Consumer appliances and electronic goods maker, Haier today opened its exclusive showroom under title ‘Royal Electronics’ at Rajinder Bazaar.
The showroom was inaugurated by Business Manager (Sales) Haier, Tejinder Sehgal, in the presence of prominent people of the city. Proprietor of Royal Electronics, Varinder Mahajan, Amit Mahajan and Vanshu Mahajan were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Business Manager (Sales) Haier, Tejinder Sehgal said that under ‘Make in India’ concept the Company has set up a manufacturing plant at Pune with the total investment of Rs 490 crore.
“We have invested Rs 490 crore at our plant at Ranjangaon (Pune) to double capacity of refrigerator production and make new products too. We had to increase the production capacity due to the growth in the sales, therefore we had to build up additional manufacturing facility in India,” he added.
Earlier, the company was only making refrigerators at the plant. Now it will also make washing machines, ACs, TV panels and water heaters, he added.
“Globally, Haier Group has been a pioneer in home solutions and appliances technology and has enjoyed a great market share across the world. The growth demonstrated by Haier India in the recent few years has been phenomenal and we’re really optimistic about the company’s position in the country. The expansion of Haier’s manufacturing facility in Pune further strengthens the group’s focus on India,” Sehgal added.
While speaking on the festive offers, Sehgal informed that the company has launched various offers on the occasion of Diwali Festival. He said the Company is offering 3 years warranty on Haier LEDs, 5 years extended warranty on Microwaves, five years extended warranty on washing machine and many more consumer offers are available.
Proprietor of Royal Electronic Varinder Mahajan, informed that the complete range of Haier appliances like LED, microwave, refrigerator and washing machine are available in the showroom.
