JAMMU, Oct 22: A woman succumbed to her burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H).
According to a police spokesperson, the woman identified as Soma Devi wife of Kaku Ram, resident of Talore, district Samba, was shifted here at GMC&H yesterday after she suffered burn injuries at her residence due to unknown reasons.
However, the woman succumbed to her injuries today at about 3.30 am. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to her legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
