UDHAMPUR, Oct 22: A Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) of the Army was found hanging from ceiling fan hook in his room of family quarters at Signal Regiment Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as JCO Manju Nath, 41 year old, posted at Signal Regiment in Udhampur. He was found hanging in his room under mysterious circumstances. On being informed, Police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem and other legal formalities.
Even as Police has also registered a case in this connection for further investigation, sources said that the JCO appears to have committed suicide.
