RAJOURI, Oct 23: The police seized a Tata Mobile vehicle carrying nine bovine animals at Dangri Chowk after it over turned on the road during early morning.
The mishap took place at around 6 am when the vehicle coming from Kalakote side was moving towards Thannamandi. At a sharp curve near bridge just closer to Dangri Chowk, the vehicle over turned. One cattle was killed in the mishap. The driver managed to escape from the sport. The people of the area gathered there and they rescued the animals tied and packed in the vehicle. The angry mob assembled there was about to set the vehicle on fire when the SHO Rajouri, Insp Chaman Gorkha arrived there and controlled the situation. The vehicle along with animals was seized. The police registered a case in this connection.
