UDHAMPUR, Oct 24: A youth was killed while another seriously injured in a road accident on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Kud area today.
The police said that a bus bearing registration No. JK02AP/ 6091 hit a motor-cycle No. JK06/8972 near Tamatar Morh in Kud area, killing one Vimal Partap Singh (23), son of Sher Singh, resident of Jangalbar village in Thathri on the spot. His associate Neeraj Parihar (26), son of Baldev Raj Parihar , resident of Thathri was critically injured and was rushed to Chenani hospital and later referred to GMC Hospital, Jammu. The police seized the bus and arrested its driver.
