UDHAMPUR, Oct 25: Che-nani Police today foiled an attempt of bovine smuggling and rescued 11 animals, which were being transported to Kashmir in a truck.
The truck JK02W-3567, carrying bovine animals, was intercepted at Domail Chenani, by a Police naka, laid by SHO Chenani Mahash Sharma. During thorough search, the truck was found loaded with 11 bovine animals, which were rescued by Police even as the driver managed to escape from the spot.
Police has seized the truck and registered a case in this connection at Police Station Chenani.
