NEW DELHI: Army Chief Gen Dalbir Singh Suhag today visited forward areas along Indo-China border in the central sector and reviewed the operational preparedness.
The Army Chief was briefed about the operational readiness by the local commanders at Puh and Sudo in Himachal Pradesh, a statement said here. He also interacted with the troops on ground and expressed satisfaction at the high operational standards achieved.
The Army Chief was accompanied by GOC-in-C Western Command Lt Gen Surinder Singh during this visit. (AGENCIES)
