JAMMU, Oct 29: In separate cases, three persons including a young girl today allegedly made abortive attempts on their lives by consuming some poisonous substances at their respective residences in city and its outskirts.
A girl identified as Mamta Manhas (18) daughter of Yog Raj, resident of Gandoh, at present residing in Mubarak Mandi area of Jammu city consumed some poisonous substance following which she was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment.
Similarly, Anju Devi (35) wife of Ravi Singh, resident of Pargwal and Pawan (21) son of Janak Raj, resident of Chak Umar Reyal (Bishnah) also tried to end their lives by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences. Both are undergoing treatment at GMCH Jammu.
In all three cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
