JAMMU, Oct 29: Rotary Club of Jammu city today installed Rajan Sawhney as president of Rotract Club of Jammu City and Anniet Kour as president of Interact Club of Jammu City in a function held here at Press Club.
The function was chaired by Ravinder Kaul, president of Rotary Club of Jammu City. Sanjeev Vaid, Zonal Chair, Rotract and Interact Clubs, was the guest of honour.
In the speeches delivered by both the presidents, they briefed the audience about the Rotract and Interact Clubs and also highlighted the works done by the clubs in the past.
Ravinder Kaul in his presidential speech briefed the audience about the projects taken up by the club for the betterment of the society especially the Rotary Book Bank.
More than 10 students joined the club on the occasion and they were pinned by the president, Ravinder Kaul. Rishab and Tarun were selected as secretary and treasurer of the Rotract Club.
Besides others, SK Sawhney, secretary of Rotary Club of Jammu City, Anil Swaraj, Robin Mehta, Adeep Mehta, Sanjay Bansal, Sandeep Beri and Gurdev Singh Sodhi were also present on the occasion.
The function concluded with vote of thanks by Adeep Mehta.
