POONCH, Oct 31: At least six shops were gutted due to fire incident at Saujian in Mandi tehsil of district Poonch during Saturday night.
Reports said that fire started from a Karyana shop mysteriously and then it engulfed the adjoining shops including a tea stall. The people woke up and rushed there and soldiers from nearby camp also reached the site to help.
The incident took place during mid night and police claimed that some short circuit could be the reason behind it. The police said that a case has been registered in this connection and the loss of property was being ascertained.
