JAMMU, Oct 31: A 17-year-old boy died today after he was hit by a train at Vijaypur.
According to a police spokesman, the boy identified as Bantu Ram son of Ramesh Lal, resident of Mannu (Mansar), got serious injuries after he was hit by Tata Moori train at Vijaypur, this evening. He was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for conducting post mortem tomorrow. The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter.
