3 killed in road mishaps

UDHAMPUR, Oct 31: In separate road accidents,  here today, two youth  and a middle aged woman were killed while one person sustained injuries.
According to the police reports,  a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK14B-8665, was hit by an unidentified vehicle near Kallar. The motorcyclist, who  was on  way from Udhampur Domail to Jaganoo, sustained critical  wounds  in the accident and he succumbed to  his injuries on way to the hospital. The deceased was identified as Aman Deep (21),  son of Subhash Chander of Jaganoo Udhampur.
In  another road accident,  a 21-year old youth died while another youth sustained critical injuries, when the car, they were traveling in, rolled down  in deep gorge  at Mayani, near Dudu.  The  car,  bearing registration number JK14D-5916, was on  way from Kirchi to Shiv Gali Dudu when it met with accident near village Mayani. Police and locals  rushed to  the spot and took the injured persons to Sub District Hospital Chenani where  one Mohamed Salim (21) son of Mohamed Shafi of Kirchi did not respond to the treatment and died. The injured was  identified as Ratish Kumar (27) son of Shambu Dutt of Mayani.
Meanwhile,  a middle aged woman died after she fell from a moving motorcycle, which was being driven by her son. The mishap took place near Flata and the victim succumbed to her injuries at hospital. She was identified as Rita Devi (44),  wife of Chander Mohan of Sarajan Dhakki Jammu.
