NEW DELHI: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh today discussed the border situation with the Chief Ministers of the all border states in wake of heavy shelling by Pakistani Rangers in Jammu region in which eight civilians lost their life.

He said the Centre will take all possible steps to counter the cross border shelling and assured that no one can harm the country. Mr Singh was replying to a question of the mediapersons here on the border situation of Jammu and Kashmir following continuous ceasefire violations by Pakistan.

The Union Home Minister said he had already spoken to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti regarding the safety of civilians in that region. (AGENCIES)
