SAMBA, Nov 4: The Mini-ster for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga today kick-started road macadamization work from Sarore Adda to Ratnal Adda.The 4.2 km road work would be taken up under city roads scheme with estimated cost of Rs 2.03 crore by PWD and was long pending demand of the locals.
On the occasion, the Minister directed officials to ensure that the work execution conforms to high quality and best engineering practices are followed. He also directed officials to complete work on fast track basis and adhere to project deadlines.
The Minister said that coalition is pledged to development of all three regions of the State with special attention towards the development of rural and backward areas so that no area feels deprived and neglected. He appealed the people to come forward in taking the advantage of the developmental schemes of both Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and State Coalition Government led by Mehbooba Mufti.
The Minister was accompanied by Executive Engineer PWD Rajan Mengi, AEE PWD Manoj Kohli and other officials.
