SAMBA, Nov 5: Five 81 mm live shells were recovered from an agriculture field in Ramgarh Sector today.
According to police the shells were recovered from the fields of Ramesh Lal, S/o Chuni Lal of village Nanga, Baldev Raj S/o Kattu Ram, R/o Babral, Virender Singh, S/o Dayan Singh R/o Chak Paras, Harnam Dass, S/o Pau Ram R/o Rangoor and Hans Raj, S/o Pannu Ram R/o Kandral.
All the five shells which were found in four feet deep inside the earth have been defused safely by Army Capt Vikas Malik of 269 Engineering Unit and Bomb Disposal Squad headed by S I Uttam Chand with assistance of border police Post Kamore.
