Qaiser, who was a resident of Srinagar’s Shalimar area, was found in an unconscious state last week after he was missing from his house. The teen was later admitted to Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura and on the night of Friday, he breathed his last.
The family members of the deceased while rejecting police version demanded a fair and impartial probe and justice in the case. Holding placards, they shouted slogans against State Government and police before dispersing peacefully.
Police said they have already initiated a probe into the matter and rejected all the allegations of Qaiser’s family and others.
