JAMMU, Nov 6: Yogoda Satsang Dhyan Kendra (YSDK), Jammu donated sports equipments and games to SOS Herman Gmeiner School (HGS), Jammu today as a part of charity activities of the Kendra.
SOS HGS School Jammu is a community project of a SOS Children Village India affiliated to CBSE providing education to the deprived children. On the occasion, Yogoda Satsang Dhyana Kendra, Udheywala, Jammu was introduced as one of the nodal centre of Yogoda Satsang Society of India/Self Realization Fellowship, USA established by Sri Sri Paramhansa Yoganandaji to preach scientific techniques of God communion through Kriya Yoga.
Members of the Kendra conducted a meditation and chanting session with the students and members of management committee of the school and distributed sports articles of cricket, badminton, volleyball and many indoor games for the benefit of students.
During the programme, world renowned literary marvel ‘Autobiography of a Yogi’ which introduced the truth-seekers all over the world to instrumentality of Kriya yoga meditation for God communion, YSS booklets and literature were gifted to the school along with packed lunch.
